A big thanks to them, as without them the event would not be able to go ahead.

Lots of smiles despite the rain
The forecast didn’t put riders off on the night, it was a good breezy night, keeping the rain clouds moving, however throughout the evening were light isolated showers, we had wet roads and light showers at Old and there were dry roads at Mawsley. 10 riders took part with a full KCC field.
We had the pleasure of Charlie and Jamie Stockham, who hopefully have the racing bug again so we hope to see more of them, also riding for the first time in five years was Al Houghton, great to see Al back racing and dusting off his TT gear! Missing from the rider line up were Jake and Ian Bird, holidaying in Norfolk, so this week we had a duel off between juniors Lucas and Eddie.
The results
Rob Barker took the win with 21:46, Sue Rust stealing second from Graham Rice by just one second, 24:39 and 24:40 respectively, all TT bikes, Sue was the only lady rider.
In the road bike category, Lucas Buksh was the only road bike setup 26:07 so securing the winning points, as for the junior duel off, this wasn’t enough to secure the junior winning time, as he was pipped by Eddie Hennah by only 4 seconds who clocked 26:03. A strong ride by Lucas as Eddie was on a TT setup.
With only two more events on this course, we look forward to seeing you on the 12th. Remember we also have Broughton 10m TT on the Sunday 15th.
Well done everyone. Thank you all for participating and making this a successful event for the organisers.
