What a contrast to the predicted weather, calmer than we’ve had previously and a bias to a tail wind! Fast night was expected and it was!

Chris Old secured the win by 1 minutes and 29 seconds with a time of 22:12 over Graham Rice 23:41 with Marcus Buksh taking third with 25:12, surging up the climb to the finish to secure the place over Lindsay Scott by 3 seconds! how close was that Marcus.
Road bike category was a battle of juniors and Ian Bird, with Ian having to do a treasure hunt for his mobile phone that jumped out of his pocket, handed the win to Lucas Buksh (so Ian says!) 26:19, Ian finished on 27:47 which gave him second and Jake Bird took third with a good solid ride of 30:03.

The top rides on the night were from guest riders George Fox (GFCS) 20:14 and Gavin Howell (Velo Elite) 20:19 but not securing a course record as Fabos set under 20 in 2019, pure athleticism was Richard Jones (Velo Elite) crossed the finish at 20:58 on a road bike! 21 times were also consumed by guest riders with Fabos Young finishing with 21:08 and David Tuttle 21:56.
