Sunday down to Grounds Café : training ride with Andy Parker

This Sunday you have a training paced ride with Andy Parker: With a brisk southerly wind forecast for this Sunday, the route take us into that wind on the way out but promises to give us a goo nudge on the way home. Coffee stop is Salcey Forest.

Everyone is welcome – just stick to some basic principles of group riding: obey the traffic laws, ride no more than two abreast, never overlap wheels with the person in front and consider other road users. We’ll make sure no one is dropped.

TRAINING: FAST 18mph+ / INTERMEDIATE 16-17mph (52miles Grounds Cafe at Salcey Forest):

The structure has changed for our club rides… please read.

We are continuing with the new structure to our club rides, catering for the rider who wants a goal of speed and KOM/QOM’s to push themselves, frequency is every week with Andy Parker, and, for the first and third Sunday of the month, we will offer two routes, the later will be circa 30 miles and tailored for the less competitive rider, who is after a social ride, taking in the views, at a pace that is suitable for conversation that will be with Marcus Buksh.
