Despite the bashing it received from Storm Babet, Misterton Hall looked stunning in the autumn sunshine last weekend, as the cyclocross season continued with a muddy round 4 of the Leicestershire League.
Welland Valley Cycling Club set out a course that took in all of the natural features around the lake. While the mud was not deep, it did provide some interesting cornering challenges, particularly on the switchbacks and through the wooded sections.
Lukas Humplik started the day off with a third place finish in his race, followed by Maria Cayford in the female race. Marcus Buksh, Andrew Brown, and Lucas Buksh then joined forces in the V50 race, with Lucas Buksh finishing seventh. Michael Jonathan and Scott Barber also rode well in the V40 category.
Congratulations to everyone who took part. Check out the upcoming rounds in the Central and Leicestershire leagues here.
