Everybody raced well
On the best night of the week for Time Trialling several of our regular riders made the most of the conditions and posted their best times on the course this season.
After a pre-race adrenalin rush having forgotten his front light Mark Weathersby piloted his road bike round in an excellent 24:29 to be fastest KCC rider. Dan Bates came in in 2nd place followed by Graham Rice, Scott Barber, Gary Carter, Lucas Buksh and Jake Bird. With the exception of Gary who hadn’t ridden a TT this year before last night, everybody posted their fastest times of the year so far on the Lamport course. Well done all!
A tight Junior battle
In the Junior section Lucas Buksh and Jake Bird were again battling hard for the honours of fastest junior. Lucas came out on top of that scrap but he was pushed all the way by Jake who knocked exactly a minute off his previous best time from last week. Keep that going guys, it’s great to see.
Still with the Juniors Hudson Hendry from George Fox Cycling Solutions was the fastest rider of the night with an excellent 23:25.
Once again it was great to see the KCC members and our guest and we’ll look forward to more good racing through the season.
Thanks to the volunteers
As ever we could not run the events without the volunteers and all of the riders are grateful for their input into making the event happen. Mick Wood was there again marshalling at the roundabout and Marcus Buksh was our calm and collected time keeper.
