Last Sunday morning saw the first Time Trial in Kettering CC’s 2022 season take place.
Riders challenge the weather
4 riders faced the challenges of the weather and an undulating course from Weekley to Stanion and back with Scott Barber, like 3 of the competitors on the day using his road bike and not specialist TT bike, recording the fastest time of 27:14 for the 10.2 mile course. Noel Toone was second home in 28:00 followed by Maria Gent on her TT bike at 29:07. Ian Storey, riding for SalesEngine CC, crossed the finish line in 30:42.

There will be plenty of opportunities for local riders to improve their TT times from April 7th to the end of August as the club will be running its TT’s on a range of courses during that time.
