Riders came out for the first of the KCC Lamport 10m TTs, with the uncertainty of rain as the sun was out, there was the looming presence of big black clouds, it was very changeable and at the race start time it was forecasted there was to be a 30% chance of rain, but the clouds seemed to pass over and it looked like we were going to escape and be dry. However a surprise cloudburst shortly after the start that continued for duration of the event, made for treacherous conditions.
We saw a cracking ride by Josh, catching riders and doing an amazing time on a road bike. A well done is deservedly dished out to all riders and we hope that Chris is not too bruised from his fall.
