Time Keepers: Stephen Webster and Tony Brown
Marshals: Graham Rice
A big thanks to them, as without them the event would not be able to go ahead.
Strava weather: Partly cloudy, 20°C, Humidity 60%, wind 4.1mi/h from NNE.
Last of our Lamport 10m TT for this season.
Last of the Lamport 10’s had the pleasure of favourable weather conditions for PB’s as it was the first time this season the wind was beneficial, being a cross should head wind going out and the benefit of over 55% tail wind coming back! A complete contrast to the rain and storms that were forecast earlier in the week.
This was representative in the cracking times for the few riders that signed up to ride.
KCC Riders
David Robinson even dusted off his TT gear and came out to play. And well worth it as he put in the fasted time of the KCC riders 24:58, it great to see David racing and we hope he’s got the bug and comes and joins us on the Old 9.4 course next week.
Marcus Buksh, came over the line in second with 26:32 with Lucas Buksh taking third on his road bike 27:48 (also taking the road bike set up win). Finishing the line up of KCC riders, Drew Kimbell also on a road bike 28:01 ( taking second place for the road bike cat) and finally, but not least, Mick Wood 35:53. Well done all.
Guest Riders
For the visitors, we had a super ride by Josh Brown (Tofauti) 22:52, with the next two riders split by only 4 seconds, James Hyde (Ranvale) 23:03 stealing second off of Alex Garner (Velo Elite) 23:07.
Thank you all for participating and making this a successful event for the organisers.
We hope to see you all next week at Old.
If I get anyones name, club or more importantly time incorrect please let me know. Apologies in advance. Well done everyone.
