Well that’s more like it 😀

On this year’s one and only club 10 on the revised N7/10 course at Earls Barton it was great to see a fabulous turnout of 23 riders who got pretty good conditions for the race.

You can see from the results below how well everybody rode. I won’t summarise each individual rides but there were some great takeaways from the evening:

Firstly it was great to see 3 ladies take to the start line and all put in good performances:

Maria was fastest of the ladies on the night and very close to her PB.

It was the first time Emma had ridden a TT on a dual carriageway course and was very happy with her new P.B. on her road bike. So much so that she said that she’ll be doing some more TT’s in the next few weeks.

Sue was back after a break from the club TT’s and put in a good performance on the evening.

Thank you for supporting the event and we’ll look forward to seeing you all again soon.

We saw what I think were 6 other P.B.’s on the evening. From KCC there was Dan Bulley, Graham Rice, Dan Bates and Pete Campbell. Our guests for the evening who P.B.’d were Hudson Hendry and Sulaiman Vali. Congratulations to you all and to everybody else who rode and contributed to a great evening of racing.

Thanks to our helpers

It is said each week that we couldn’t have such an evening without the volunteers. A big thank you goes to Jamie and Charlie Stockham, Mrs Fox, Mick Wood and Mark Ainge. The N7 is a quick course but it needs people to marshal at some key junctions so thank you for stepping forward to help.

Whilst it’s not a person to thank we also need to thank Earls Barton Primary school for letting us use the car park as our race HQ. That is very much appreciated.

I’m afraid that there aren’t any photos that I know of but if anybody has any please feel free to send them to me

Next week we are back to Old for the traditional circuit. It won’t be as fast as last week’s event but it’s an honest test and this week is followed by a barbecue at the White Horse pub where everybody is welcome.
