Kettering CC - Weekley 10, 11th March 2018

Kettering CC had their season opener last weekend, contesting the Weekley 10, starting on the kettering Northern bypass & travelling through Geddington on the way to the turn at Corby's Eurohub roundabout.

Jamie Stockham took the club maximum points with 25.30 on the calm and surprisingly mild morning with temperatures nearly in double figures, positively tropical compared the the conditions just one week before!

Alastair Wyldes was just 30s behind for 2nd place with Martin Keable completing the podium in 26.17

Sue Rust took the ladies section win with 28.08, keading the close tussle for lady's honours ahead of Maria Gent (28.32) and ever improving Juvenile, Bethany Spencer 28.54

David Robinson took the road bike section win with 26.42

Gavin Hinxman (Drag2Zero) posted 21.45, a new course record, the previous best being 22.28 recorded by Stephen Colbert (Arbis-Colbert Cycles) on a warm March morning in 2014
